Christmas @ CCC

CCC

I decorated my pair of Amanda Lindroth wicker pagodas for the holidays with a beachy theme in blue and white.

Favorite Things Right Now

Island Dreaming by Amanda Lindroth

I have really been missing Amanda Lindroth's website and wonderful wicker and chinoiserie filled collection. I am thrilled that her new book Island Dreaming is now out.

Wicker Handbags

Amanda Lindroth X Hill House Home Basket Bag

I love wicker in my home, of course, but I also love wicker handbags. I have quite a few, both vintage and new. Some of my favorites are by Amanda Lindroth.

Coastal Chinoiserie Christmas

Amanda Lindroth Bone Ornaments

My home in Florida is decorated in what I have dubbed Coastal Chinoiserie with lots of wicker, palm trees, and seashells mixed with ginger jars, blue and white Chinese porcelain, and pagodas. If you love this style, Amanda Lindroth is having a sale with 30% off gift items and Tag Sale with some great choices for your home and for Christmas gifts.

Pink

Amanda Lindroth

With the Barbie movie and pink all the rage, I thought it would be fun to post a very sophisticated room featuring pink. This stunning dining room is by Amanda Lindroth. The pecky cypress–paneled dining room was designed around a set of early 19th-century Dufour wallpaper panels depicting Captain Cook’s voyages to the South Seas.

Island Vibes

Amanda Lindroth

This is such a pretty living room by Amanda Lindroth. I love that it feels like it was collected over time with lots of vintage pieces. At CCC, I have a mix of old and new with lots of things I have had for decades. I have this same faux palm tree in my own living room from the Canvas Nursery down the road in Ft. Meyers.

The Coastal Dining Room

Lisa Johnson - MOD Society Magazine

Interior designer Lisa Johnson was tasked by her client to refresh her Hilton Head home in a relaxed and kitsch-free coastal vibe. I love the dining room.

The Canopy Bed

Amanda Lindroth

Growing up I really wanted a canopy bed. But a canopy bed was not my parents' aesthetic in their mid century modern home and I never had one. So as an adult I bought my dream canopy bed - a gold leaf pagoda canopy bed.

Messel Green

Amanda Lindroth

In Amanda Lindroth's home in Lyford Cay in the Bahamas, much of the furniture, wicker, and shutters are painted a beautiful green.

The color is inspired by British theater and set designer Oliver Messel, who renovated many homes in Barbados and Mustique that prominently featured a similar color. In many parts of the Caribbean, "Messel green" is a household term for the color.

Painted Wicker

Amanda Lindroth

The vast majority of wicker pieces on the market today are natural wicker. I love unpainted wicker, but then I see a piece painted like this, and I love it as well. Here Amanda's wonderful Sloane side table is painted in her signature Nassau blue. This piece is part of her new summer collection.

Chinoiserie Island Inspiration

Amanda Lindroth

Amanda Lindroth has become my favorite interior designer since moving to Florida. Her style combines chinoiserie with a beachy island vibe that I adore. This vignette is a perfect case in point.

The Wicker Beverage Tub High/Low

Amanda Lindroth

For summer entertaining, one of these wicker beverage tubs is ideal. They hold multiple bottles with great style. They can be used for wine, water, beer, soda, whatever you like.

Palm Beach Style

Amanda Lindroth - Veranda

This great room by Amanda Lindroth is in the new 2023 Kips Bay Decorator Show House Palm Beach. The 9,000 square foot waterfront house is in the Northwood Shores neighborhood of West Palm Beach.

Styling the Kitchen

Amanda Lindroth - Veranda

This Bahamian kitchen featured in the new Veranda is quite fabulous. The wallpaper is de Gournay's Amazonia in turquoise. Note the pink La Cornue range. The wallpaper above the range is protected by a plexiglass panel. I love the wicker stools and lighting fixture (Soane Britain). This is a white kitchen that certainly doesn't feel sterile!

Christmas Decorating Plans @ CCC

Amanda Lindroth

Now that Halloween is over, I have turned to my Christmas decorating plans at CCC.

I have a pair of the large wicker Amanda Lindroth pagodas pictured in the center. They are absolutely humongous - bigger than they look above - about three feet tall and a foot and a half wide. I decided I would love to decorate them for Christmas for my foyer.

A Marbleous Blue and White Christmas

Amanda Lindroth

Amanda Lindroth's Holiday Collection features gorgeous blue swirl marble paper items just perfect for a blue and white Chinoiserie Christmas.

Being a Savvy Chinoiserie Shopper

Amanda Lindroth

I fell in love with this vignette from Amanda Lindroth's wonderful book Island Hopping. I was obsessed with the pineapple and had assumed it was an antique that I could never find.

Creating Tropical Style

Amanda Lindroth

I love the view into the outdoor space filled with potted tropical plants and her signature rattan and bamboo lanterns. Whether you have a balcony, patio, lanai, or porch, this is such a great way to bring beachy island style to your home.

Wicker & Silk

Amanda Lindroth

This is one of my favorite foyers of all time. Absolutely nobody does the beach vibe better than Amanda Lindroth in my book. Her stunning wicker furniture collection is on sale right now with 25% off ending tomorrow. Here are my top picks from this collection. Click on the captions to link. Discount will auto apply at checkout.

Styling the Rattan Bar Cart

Amanda Lindroth

I love a wicker/rattan bar cart and it is so much fun to style - I have two! Amanda has given it an island/tropical vibe with a sea fan, palm fronds, lemons, limes, oranges, a pineapple, seashells, and a wicker pitcher, ice bucket, island tray, and block print linens from her collection.
