Christmas Sheets

Red Embroidered Scalloped Sheet Set

I have a pair of red silk Blissy pillowcases that I use over the holidays. (I always sleep on silk pillowcases). I also love the idea of a sheet set just for Christmas and this set is perfect.

Dressing for the Fourth of July

Blue and White Gingham Seersucker Landis Midi Dress

Gingham is such a classic for Fourth of July attire. This dress is a great choice and is available in blue or red.

The Landis Midi Dress is ideal for sunny days spent out and about. With ruching along the sleeves and waist, a tiered skirt, and a front button placket, this breezy beauty is everything and more! Pair with sandals and a tote or dress up with wedges and a clutch!

Setting the Chinoiserie Christmas Table

Caspari

I used to avoid using red at CCC when decorating for the holidays, thinking that it did not work well with my tropical palette of blue, white, green, and pink. Over time, I have decided that red is actually wonderful with these colors, but I don't let it dominate.

Tassels for the Holidays

Red Dupioni Downing Dress

I posted this week on this wonderful green tassel top below. Well, this is also available in the top in black and a dress version in red and in black. I am so tempted to get the green top and the red dress for Christmas parties and the black dress for New Year's Eve. And they are so well priced too!

Red Bows for Christmas

Bow Ginger Jar Mat

A red bow is so quintessentially Christmas. Lots of chinoiserie lovers are known to tie red bows around their blue and white ginger jars for the holidays.

A great addition to your front door for the holidays is a Christmas themed door mat. I love this ginger jar door mat with red bows adorning blue and white ginger jars. Darling all year round.

Lady in Red

Chiffon Slip Skirt with Mirror Embellishments

I just ordered this skirt and can't wait for it to arrive. I have an upcoming Spanish wine tasting and tapas party I am hosting. I will be decorating in red and yellow, the colors of the flag of Spain, and was planning on wearing red. This will be perfect.

Lady in Red

Red Shirtdress in Bow Print

Cherry red was seen on a lot of runways for this Spring. Red dresses, handbags, shoes, and even sunglasses are all a trend for the season. Here are some great options.

More Valentine's Day

Frances Valentine - Elyce Arons

This is Elyce Arons, CEO of Frances Valentine, trying on some great pieces from their Warehouse Sale that is on now. This skirt would be perfect for Valentine's Day and it is on sale reduced from $398.00 to $98.00 with free shipping. I love it because I love feathers and this feather fringe skirt has feathers made of organza - so much more durable than real feathers that you have to be careful with. Also available in black and in silver.

Valentine's Day

Ruby Paillette Mona Maxi Skirt

I am hosting a very special Valentine's Wine Tasting & Pairing where ever course from appetizer to dessert will have a chocolate component - like coffee and cocoa rubbed filet mignon and white chocolate mashed potatoes as an example. This multi course meal and wine pairing will be quite the event.

The Palm Frond Christmas Tree @ CCC

CCC

Isn't this fun for a Florida Christmas? The tree was delivered yesterday morning and it was up and decorated before noon. And it is dog proof, cat proof, kid proof, and guest proof. All the decorations are unbreakable from the topper that is an Amanda Lindroth mini wicker Birkin basket down to the sheepskin tree skirt and everything in between.

The Red Dress

Poppy Red Blythe Dress

You can't beat a great red dress for the holidays. A classic choice that is always in style.

Red & Green for the Holidays

Seraphina Floral Long Sleeve 3D Lace Mandarin Collar Midi Dress

Here are some great looks for the holidays - for parties, entertaining at home, or travel.

The Ladylike Trend - The Lady Jacket

Mariner Jersey Lady Jacket with Sequins

The lady jacket is a hot trend this fall and winter. Here it is reimagined for the holidays in black sequins with white braid trim. It has chic gold crest buttons. I love that this jacket is cotton jersey, so it will be nice and comfy on the inside and not too hot for those of us in warmer climates.

Red & Green Jewelry for the Holidays

Malachite Earrings

A wonderful way to accessorize any outfit for the holidays is with a great piece of jewelry in red or green. Even a neutral dress, say in black or white, is the perfect canvas for red or green statement jewelry. Here are some great picks -

Christmas Ginger Jars

Red Candy Stripe Ginger Jar

I can't wait to start decorating for the holidays and I am already in planning mode. I always like adding a few new things to my Christmas decor. I have been eyeing these ginger jars in red and green.

Valentine's Day Flower Tips

Carolyne Roehm

Many of us will be getting roses for Valentine's Day whether as gifts from others or to ourselves. Most will come in those generic glass florist's vases or no vase. Do yourself a favor and put them in one of your blue and white Chinese vases or ginger jars. Such a beautiful combination. And carnations as shown above in this beautiful vignette by Carolyne Roehm are a gorgeous and very chic again alternative to roses.

Setting the New Year's Eve Table

Carolyne Roehm

This is great inspiration for setting the table for New Year's Eve - a very chic color palette of black, gold, and red. A very glamorous and sophisticated look.

The Perfect Christmas Dress

Red Guipure Lace Daphne Dress

This iconic dress is a must for the holidays. Ready for celebrations with family, festive parties with friends, and every social event on your calendar, the occasions are endless for this bow tie-back dress! With its ruffled stand up collar, three quarter length sleeves, and swing shape, it is incredibly flattering but in a covered up and elegant way. It is lined except for the sleeves.
