Amanda Lindroth - Veranda |
This Bahamian kitchen featured in the new Veranda is quite fabulous. The wallpaper is de Gournay's Amazonia in turquoise. Note the pink La Cornue range. The wallpaper above the range is protected by a plexiglass panel. I love the wicker stools and lighting fixture (Soane Britain). This is a white kitchen that certainly doesn't feel sterile!
I love the styling of this kitchen with lots of wicker accessories, including several from Amanda Lindroth's collection.
I especially like her signature island tray filled with pineapples. This is a great alternative to flowers for the kitchen for the holidays or a party. A pineapple can be left on a counter unrefrigerated for 2 days.
I absolutely adore the pair of pagoda etageres - they are by Chelsea House - a favorite company of mine for high end chinoiserie accessories. They have been filled with citrus and bananas.
On top of the range is a dark blue Staub Coq Au Vin Cocotte.
I previously posted on this Amanda Lindroth kitchen below. I love the mahogany countertops, the pair of wicker elephants, and the Cole & Son Palm Jungle wallpaper. Palm fronds, plantains, and watermelon add an organic island vibe.

Speaking of the tropics, we are under a tropical storm warning today - Hurricane Nicole has just pummeled the east coast of Florida. My thoughts are with all my Palm Beach area and East Coast friends - stay safe.
Quite fabulous indeed! The kitchen with the mahogany countertops tho! That’s one of my all time favorite kitchens.
