Here Joe Nye (from his book Flair) uses another budget friendly flower on this dining room sideboard- baby's breath or gypsofila to great effect. With the bold red Chinoiserie walls, a more subtle flower works perfectly.

Few of us likely have a red, white, and blue Chinoiserie dining room, but don't let that stop you from setting your Fourth of July table in red, white, and blue Chinoiserie Chic style. Check your house for things you already have-blanc de Chine, blue and white Chinese porcelain gingers jars, vases, or candlesticks, or blue and white china. Add blue hydrangeas or red carnations, roses, or poppies. Voila!

Chinoiserie Chic Cheap Glassware

Colored glassware is a very hot trend that works beautifully with Chinoiserie china patterns. Unfortunately, it can be pricey and hard to find. Caspari is stocking these fun Moroccan tea glasses in fabulous colors for only $7.50 a glass. Joe Nye's wonderful book Flair has great examples of pairing Chinoiserie linens and china with colorful glassware.
