Yesterday's Chinoiserie Finds
Can you spot my latest finds? On the extreme left is a tiny Blanc de Chine goddess from my favorite consignment shop for $8.00. She the smallest I have and so sweet. At the far right are the cutest Ikat Mini Bowls from Anthropologie for $8.00 each. Click photos to enlarge. Chinoiserie Chic Cheap Glassware
Colored glassware is a very hot trend that works beautifully with Chinoiserie china patterns. Unfortunately, it can be pricey and hard to find. Caspari is stocking these fun Moroccan tea glasses in fabulous colors for only $7.50 a glass. Joe Nye's wonderful book Flair has great examples of pairing Chinoiserie linens and china with colorful glassware.
