WOW!!!!! High/Low

The Chinese double gourd lamp has become an icon of interior design. They are now available in a marbleized version that I adore! One of these is $185.95 for a set of two. The other is $2,665 for one or $5,330 for a pair. Can you guess which is which?

For those of you who are loyal followers of CC, you know the answer is that the budget friendly pair is the blue and white. They were on Joss & Main a couple of weeks ago and I posted on them and I am still getting emails from people who missed the sale trying to track them down. Well, they are back! Find them here.

The red and white pair are by Christopher Spitzmiller. I'm sorry, they are beautiful, but I can't imagine spending 5 grand on a pair of lamps even if I had that kind of money.

The Joss & Main are also available in black and white. BTW, they are the same size with the Joss & Main measuring 32" and the Spitzmiller 30.5". These are an amazing High/Low, don't you agree?

Double Gourd Lamp High/Low

I love this Bunny Williams brushstroke double gourd lamp above, but it retails for $950.00! The one below reminds me of it, and it is sold in pairs for $184.95. It is available right now on Joss & Main. It also comes in black, red, gray, and blue - this is the navy. A pair would be wonderful on a console table or on bedside tables.

Patent Leather Books

Do any of you remember this fabulous office belonging to Kevin Sharkey? I love the wall of blanc de Chine, the blue and white porcelain, and the books arranged by color. When I saw these gorgeous English patent leather books on Joss & Main yesterday, I had to snap up a few sets for display, the colors are so gorgeous. They are still available here.
