Spring Pagodas

Southern Living Spring Collection Small Pagoda Lantern in Pink

Just in time for Spring and Easter, I have found the prettiest pagoda lanterns in the softest Spring pastels. Use them on the dining table, entryway table, sideboard, or anywhere with LED battery candles.

The Ladylake Trend for Fall - Tweed

Hot Pink Tweed Long Sleeve Jackie Dress

With September arriving tomorrow, I am continuing with my series on the "ladylike" trend for fall that I cannot get enough of. Today I am looking at tweed - such a timeless classic. Very Chanel and very Jackie Kennedy. And tweed need not be grays and browns. In fact, this ladylike fall trend is focusing on pastels like pink, lavender, and mint. So I will be including some great pastel options in tweed. These colors are perfect for those of us in warmer climates.

Lettuce Ware

Tory Burch

I love lettuce ware and would love to have a spot at CCC to display a collection like this. So pretty! Tory Burch has a beautiful collection on her website created in collaboration with the estate of Dodie Thayer.

Pastels

Matters of Style

I love these rooms and especially the color palette - the blues of the ceilings, fringed velvet sofa, and Chinese Chippendale chairs, the greens of the console table, chair, sofa pillows, and art, and the lovely coral and blue rug.

A Chinoiserie Farmhouse

I previously posted on this wonderful dining room above from Connecticut Cottages & Gardens with its charming mix of a Jansen pagoda lantern, David Iatesta table, Osborne & Little Chinoiserie wallpaper, antique Swedish chairs mixed with acrylic chairs, mirrored sideboard, and pink silk taffeta curtains. I thought you would enjoy seeing the rest of this Fairfield, Connecticut farmhouse by interior designer Annie Mahoney. With three children under ten, they wanted to have fun with the house and it is filled with lots of color, stripes, checks, dots, toiles, and Chinoiserie. Chinoiserie is perfect for adding a dose of whimsy, joy, and fun to any home.
