Happy March! March is a favorite month for me. My darling pup Harper turns eleven this week, my birthday is in a couple of weeks, and I got married in March. This Spring, cabbage ware is going to be a huge trend for setting the table. And it mixes so well with blue and white Chinese pattern china.

Dodie was an American artisan and entrepreneur and her story is remarkable. Her ancestors helped settle Palm Beach where she taught herself how to mold pottery from lettuce and cabbage leaves.

I love beautiful linen cocktail napkins and have quite a collection, both vintage and new. I use them for serving cocktails and wine as well as beverages like iced tea and sparkling water. I also love using them for setting the table for a pop of color. Here is another great idea - on a serving tray. The tray looks a lot like Amanda Lindroth's wicker Island Trays. I really miss her old website. Luckily I have half a dozen of her trays and use them all over CCC.
