Fabulous Finds - Special Edition

Maison Canopy Bed

These are two great finds - a gold pagoda canopy bed and gold pagoda bookcase at fantastic prices. They are made of iron and hand finished in Antique Gold. The bed is even on a special limited time sale right now. I have purchased two of these beds in black and they are wonderful, but it has just come out in gold. We have one in my house and one in my daughter's apartment. These are from Pottery Barn Teen if you can believe it. Fabulous quality and Hollywood Regency style at a great price.

Color Blocking Books

Were you intrigued by the Kevin Sharkey office I posted on yesterday with the books arranged by color? Here's more inspiration by Windsor Smith grouping books by color with blue and white Chinese porcelain.

The Red Chinoiserie Bookcase

I am working on a post on red Chinoiserie and I stumbled upon this photo from my archives. What a great way to turn a bookcase into a Chinoiserie focal point by painting it red and adding some Chinoiserie accessories. Wonderful!
