You may recall that I am a big fan of the iconic L.L.Bean Boat and Tote. I have collected them since college and they just get better over time the older they get. I use them for errands, dry cleaning, farmers markets, Aldi, car organization, wine tasting paraphernalia, dog toys, Christmas ornaments, and more. I love this photo - a Maine home or homage to one, using the Freeport, Maine based L.L.Bean's Boat and Tote as a Christmas tree "skirt" and in lieu of Christmas stockings on the mantel. A beach house version would be darling using the Boat and Tote in a blue trim.

The term famille rose (meaning of the “pink family”) refers to porcelain glazed with enamels in a predominantly pink, white, yellow, and green color palette.

This Target Studio McGee for Threshold candle called Masala Rose is absolutely wonderful. A floral for people who don't generally like florals - clean, fresh, elegant, light, but with amazing throw that really lingers in the room. With my open floor plan, the scent literally fills my home. The rose is subtle but intoxicating. I would call this a musky spicy floral with a very luxurious expensive candle feel.
