I love earrings and you will never see me without earrings on (except at the beach where I have learned my lesson losing them).
A very favorite source is an Etsy shop who does wonderful dupes of designer earrings. I have several pairs. They are light as a feather and beautiful. These blue and white chinoiserie ones are my favorites - I have them on right now. And they are available in small or large, pierced or clip, gold or silver fittings.
