The Adoration of the Magi by Edward Byrne - Jones

Today is the Epiphany, also called Three Kings' Day, marking the day when the three kings or "wise men" came to see the baby Jesus in Bethlehem and proclaim him king. So I plan to spend the day taking down my Christmas trees and decorations, a tradition for many people. It always makes me a little sad - I absolutely adore homes decorated for the holidays. Oh well, until next year. I'm glad I am not in D.C. where 10 to 12 inches of snow is predicted today. It will be a high of 76 degrees here today. I have not had the heat on once this winter.

Once I take my Christmas decorations down this coming weekend, I am looking forward to some January organizing at CCC.

A favorite project (since I am obsessed with china), is cleaning out my china cabinets.
