The Blue and White Dining Room

Jonathan Adler - ELLE Decor

Here is another lovely room from Liz Lange's wonderful Palm Beach home. The table is skirted with a Kravet fabric with Jonathan Adler fringe topped with an Indian block - printed tablecloth. The chairs are Bungalow 5. The wallpaper is by Peter Durham and the ceiling is tented in a Cole & Son wallpaper. The rug is Serena & Lily.

The sideboard has blue and white Chinese lamps and a collection of blue and white Chinese porcelain. My fave piece is the Mario Lopez Torres vintage wicker monkey chandelier from Circa Who. Torres' pieces have become highly collectable and quite pricey, but so charming! I love that Adler has used things throughout the house that are readily available.

Sunday Inspiration - Chinoiserie Vignettes

These two stunning Chinoiserie vignettes were captured by Lindsay from The Pursuit of Style of Bungalow 5's showroom at High Point last weekend. Blue and white and Hermes orange - gorgeous!

Chinoiserie Shelving High/Low

This is Bungalow 5's new Clairmont collection with its beveled mirror shelves.  This is a perfect project for all you talented DIY types using Ikea pieces and adding mirrors. I of course love the staging with the Chinese porcelain and Chinoiserie wallpaper. The wallpaper is Meg Braff's Up a Tree in Ming and Brighton Your Pavillion in Mocasin. This is likely the English major in me, but why is pavillion misspelled with a double l and why is mocasin misspelled with one c? And no, there are no alternative spellings for either word. Very odd.

Chinoiserie End Tables High/Low

This stunning pair of vintage pagoda topped end tables with fabulous hardware, three drawers, and newly redone glossy white finish are $495 for the pair at LIV vintage. A pair of these Shanghai 3-Drawer End Tables below from Bungalow 5 would be many times that. This pair would be amazing in a bedroom or living room.

End Table Inspiration

Pictured here for color inspiration is the Bungalow 5 Jacqui Nightstand or 3 Drawer Side Table at $1640.00 for a pair. I think the Etsy pair I have posted on below would be a great vintage version of this for $225.00 plus shipping and some paint.
