This wonderful trellis room is in a Palm Beach home once owned by Marjorie Merriweather Post. The manse was built in the 1920s. This was the cereal heiress' first Palm Beach home designed by Marion Sims Wyeth who also designed Post's second now infamous Palm Beach home Mar - A - Lago. The color palette of white with pops of chocolate brown and soft coral pink is so lovely.

This is a fun dining room by Shelley Johnstone that combines chinoiserie and beachy/tropical elements. I love a round skirted table. Interesting that she combines rattan Chinese Chippendale chairs with grotto shellback chairs.

Grotto Bar Stools

A tiny digression from setting the Chinoiserie table, but still in the dining mode, I am insanely in love with these lacquered grotto inspired bar stools. They are available here on 1st dibs. I would cover the seats in turquoise blue leather. Wouldn't this make for a drop dead gorgeous bar or breakfast bar?
