Many of us have small, senior, or pets with delicate backs who we don't want jumping on and off of beds or furniture. Pet steps are great for this purpose, but many ramps and stairs are way too ugly for my home. I have found safe, good looking, and affordable pet stairs. I ordered this one in ivory and to me it looks like it could be from somewhere like Serena & Lily. It looks like it is slipcovered in white cotton duck or canvas like many beach house sofas are.

A favorite piece of mine at CCC is the wicker elephant table. This versatile piece is very Chinoiserie Chic and very popular. They can be used in any room of the house. Here is one with a tropical plant. Use one in the foyer for keys and mail, as a bedside table, next to a chair for books or magazines, in a powder room for guest towels, in a bathroom for bath towels, or in a nursery or child's room.

Wicker elephant tables are great in places like Florida and in beach houses. Vintage versions are found for as much as $1,000 and more. I used one of mine next to the Christmas tree this year.

I have one of these bamboo bucket bags and absolutely love it. It is perfect for the lover of chinoiserie and ideal for your Spring/Summer wardrobe, and of course for beach and island vacations. My favorite way of wearing it is to remove the cloth pouch and substitute one of my colorful print silk or cotton scarves to coordinate with my outfit. Just lay the scarf in the bucket and put what you want inside, closing the scarf over or loosely tying it.

This Target Studio McGee for Threshold candle called Masala Rose is absolutely wonderful. A floral for people who don't generally like florals - clean, fresh, elegant, light, but with amazing throw that really lingers in the room. With my open floor plan, the scent literally fills my home. The rose is subtle but intoxicating. I would call this a musky spicy floral with a very luxurious expensive candle feel.
