It reminds me of the grand living rooms of Mario Buatta, and indeed the gorgeous Coromandel screen shown below she found at a local estate once designed by Mario Buatta.

Orange Chinoiserie

I admit that I was not aways the hugest fan of orange in interior design, but I have grown to love it. This is a perfect example of how to use orange to add a fun and modern vibe to a room that still stays elegant and classic. A pair of orange lamps, a traditional bergere chair upholstered in a dramatic orange Chinoiserie Quadrille fabric, and a pair of cane and bamboo chairs lacquered in orange are all wonderful.
