From My Chinoiserie Home-Setting the Chinoiserie Breakfast Table
I have set the breakfast bar with vintage Mottahedeh china, vintage foo dogs, vintage blanc de Chine, and vintage blue and white Chinese porcelain from my collection, a white topiary pagoda from HomeGoods, a piece of art from Annechovie, bamboo flatware, and blue and white Chinoiserie placemats "Lightfoot House" from the Williamsburg Collection.

Tuesday Tidbits-Morsels of Chinoiserie Inspiration

Today I bring you six great Chinoiserie ideas for your home.
First, above is the latest from Caspari-Chinoiserie Blue. So pretty!
Love framed botanicals but want a Chinoiserie flair-parrot tulips are a natural.

Here is my Annie Selke gold pagoda bed but done in Robert Allen's Crystal Lake. Wonderful fabric, but the bed is so stunning on its own, not sure the fabric doesn't detract from it. But this a great Chinoiserie toile for the price.

I love this idea from Martha Stewart-use vintage and new Chinoiserie tea cups, bowls, and plates to organize your jewelry drawer.

Have you seen Anne Harwell's latest work of art? I love it. One of these Frances Elkins loop chair prints is going to end up in my house.

Recall my post showing those gorgeous huge houndstooth curtains? Here we have oversized houndstooth fabric used for a bedskirt.

Anne Harwell & Christmas Chinoiserie

Some of my favorite Chinoiserie Christmas gift ideas are those of the talented artist and blogger Anne Harwell of Annechovie. Please check out her Etsy store for these and many other beautiful ideas. I have several of Anne's pieces in my own home and I am struck every day by the wonderful colors, design, and attention to detail. Anne also does commissioned work and will be happy to work with you on a painting of your home's exterior, a room, a vignette, a pet, or whatever strikes your fancy. Anne was most recently featured in House Beautiful. For Christmas hostess gifts, stocking stuffers, and perfect Christmas gifts, any of these would be a Chinoiserie Chic choice for the Chinoiserie lover in your life.

Anne Harwell & Chinoiserie

Anne Harwell of Annechovie has done a new limited edition piece I know you lovers of Chinoiserie will adore. This stunning collage is a Chinoiserie chair silhouette on a geranium background. I proudly own and display several of Anne's works of art in my own home, and this may be my favorite yet. Chinoiserie and pink-the two most beautiful words I can think of! You can find it here at her Etsy shop.

Chinoiserie Nursery from Pixie Dust Decor
Would you like to create a nursery with Chinoiserie flair? You will not find anything more charming and chic than this Pagoda pattern at Stacy McCallum's Pixie Dust Decor. I originally discovered her wonderful business on my blogger friend Anne Harwell's lovely blog Annechovie. Her beautiful things have been featured in Domino Magazine, Style Court, and many others. Pixie Dust Decor was started by owner Stacy McCallum as a textile and children's decor studio to bring style minded parents enchanting decor for their child's special space. The fabrics are all delightful, but I was of course drawn to the pagoda design. Yes, that is my baby Isabella on her very own tuffet created by Stacy with her monogram embroidered on it. I'm not sure this is what Stacy had in mind, but isn't it perfect? Stacy has a lovely line of nursery decor and a custom studio to work with you on any bespoke items you would like made up such as window treatments or accessories to coordinate.
