This is such a lovely example of how a chinoiserie vignette with Chinese porcelain need not be limited to a color palette of blue and white. Here a coral jar and a foo dog in green work beautifully with the classic blue and white Chinese porcelain pieces. My home has lots of coral, green, and blue and white, so this would work beautifully at CCC.

Vintage and antique Chinese porcelain often have more muted colors, but modern pieces work great too - just look for softer tones.

My appointment with the orthopedic surgeon yesterday went great and I can even start driving. But I am supposed to be conservative as everything is still healing for the next few weeks. I'm getting a manicure today, but plan on still relying on Uber and Instacart for a while and plan to take things very slowly. It's so hot out anyway, it's nice chilling inside with the pups. But I feel better psychologically knowing I can drive if I need to or want to. I don't feel trapped! I haven't driven in weeks, so today I am going to take a spin around my neighborhood and see how it goes. Wish me luck.
