For years Kate Spade has been creating highly collectable and coveted whimsical wicker handbags, mostly animal designs. I have a collection including an elephant, a monkey, and a frog. They are so fun. One of the most sought after is a wicker alligator that came out several years ago. It would sell on the resale market on places like eBay for up to $2,000 and more.
Kate Spade has just re-released this iconic bag and it is just too cute for words. The perfect Florida bag. Talk about a statement piece.

I have my orthopedic surgeon followup visit this afternoon. If I get a good report, I might treat myself to this bag. I will let you know tomorrow how it goes. I have not driven since June 15th and it's getting a little old. Fingers crossed - please send good vibes my way.

I saw this bag maybe a month, or so ago, when it appeared on their website. I had to force myself not to buy it because I have so many other financial priorities right now, but your post has tempted me, Beth. You know what Oscar Wilde said: "I can resist everything but temptation".
ReplyDeleteI hope you get a positive report from your doctor. Not being able to drive for three weeks would certainly bother me. I would probably get cabin fever.
Well, I caved and bought the bag. I knew as soon as you posted about it, there would be a good chance that it would sell out.
