Coastal Blue and White

Serena & Lily - Palm Beach

I love the coastal chic look and nobody does it better in my opinion than Serena & Lily. This picture is from their Palm Beach store.

Also from the Palm Beach store -

To welcome the new year, they are having a really great sale - 20% off furniture, rugs, and lighting and free shipping through tomorrow. As you probably know, shipping is usually quite expensive with larger and heavier pieces, so this is an excellent deal.

This is a great time to invest in one of their iconic pieces. Click here. Use code CHEERS.

With interior designers and followers of Chinoiserie Chic, probably the most popular Serena and Lily choice is their iconic South Seas Bar Cart. It can be used as a bar of course, or in the bathroom for towels and toiletries, as a bedside table, as a coffee station, as an entryway table, for plants - there are limitless choices.

And this amazing new rattan pendant inspired by a vintage bamboo shade.

  1. Yes, their pieces are very pretty. Their headquarters is in Sausalito, CA, which is not far from me. I not yet purchased anything from them, but I love their rattan furniture and decorative items. The reason I have not purchased from them is because I probably love Amanda Lindroth's pieces a little more, so I'm having some trouble deciding. It's so hard to choose! Beth, please tell me what your thoughts, or your reader's thoughts, are about about having a room furnished entirely with rattan furniture? I can definitely see that for an outdoor or indoor/outdoor space, especially in your part of the country, but for other spaces or other parts of the country, I'm not sure if it would be overkill, and it would end up looking like a rattan furniture store!

    1. I like both Amanda Lindroth and Serena & Lily and would likely mix them because Serena & Lily is more classic and Amanda Lindroth more whimsical and I would prefer a more eclectic mix. I think for a beach house or in Florida all rattan works fine. But my preference anywhere is a mix of materials. I think it's more interesting and sophisticated personally. Even here I tend to use one or two wicker/rattan piece in a room.
