I definitely love pink and green as much as I do blue and white. And not surprisingly, these are the four colors that fill my home and my closet. The wallcovering is de Gournay. My home in Alexandria was filled with striped silk taffeta curtains like these.
Here are some lovely pink and green options for a little wardrobe refresh - so summery and feminine. As well as for your furry friend. Click on the captions to link.

While I am a LOVER of all things Blue & White - and my home is filled with Chinoiserie in various Blues/White - my Master BR happens to be done in deep raspberry & green :)
ReplyDeleteblondchick, I am so glad you posted that your master bedroom is pink (rasberry) and green. Mine is, too. My comforter, bed skirt, european shams and window treatment are made from several pink and green toile and striped fabrics from Brunschwig and Fils finished with pink and green silk trim. Pink headboard and small matching pillows with cream tiny pin dots. Matouk sheets and more shams embroidered in Azalea. Two silver leaf painted bedside tables with doors and drawers that are custom painted inside with the same Azalea pink. And finally....wait for it...The entire wall behind my headboard is padded and covered in the toile pink and green fabric by Brunshwig and outlined in the pink and green silk trim. It is not for the faint of heart but I love it and would not change a thing.
DeleteSounds wonderful!
DeleteYou mentioned your fabulous striped taffeta curtains - could you please publish sources for said curtains?! Thank you!!
ReplyDeleteNo longer available - it was a local source in NOVA.
DeleteI've contemplated having silk taffeta curtains, either in my living room or one of my master bedrooms. They are gorgeous, but unfortunately I fear I just get too much sun exposure. I would love to know your sources for these curtains too.
ReplyDeleteI have a tip - I had silk curtains for 20 years in Alexandria with zero fading. First, they must of course be lined. I used blackout lining and it gives them more heft like interlining and also protects from the sun.
