Red, White & Blue Vignette

Sarah Bartholomew Design

This is a wonderful red, white, and blue vignette with chinoiserie elements. I love the blue and white vase filled with anemones. Anemones are such a great flower. They are part of the Ranunculaceae family, originating from China and Japan. I especially like white ones with dark centers and think they pair beautifully with blue and white Chinese porcelain.

I also love the red frames on the classic antique engravings. Colorful frames are a great way to modernize and freshen antique engravings. Framebridge is an excellent source. I have recently framed an original work of art in blue and another piece in pink using Framebridge. Click here to get 15% off your first order. I am a big fan of Framebridge - you design your piece online even working with a free designer if you like, they send you a mailer that you drop off at UPS and get back your perfectly framed piece of art. And they frame virtually anything. Here are some things they framed this week -

20th Anniversary menu

Claire’s 5th grade graduation

Birthday polaroids

Rent Playbill

Bridal bouquet

Postcards from Hawaii

Below is another vignette with white anemones that I posted just the other day. I'll be on the lookout for some. The black and white are especially modern and elegant.
