I have cleared the decks to be at my computer when the Hill House Home Summer Collection drops today at noon ET. I have posted before about the Nap Dress. An Instagram sensation, the Nap Dress went viral during Covid. How many dresses do you have that are feminine, unique, flattering, comfortable, machine washable, and can be worn for sleeping, lounging, errands, traveling, or a night out? I wore a black dotted Swiss one from my collection on Saturday night to a very fancy restaurant paired with pink Chanel accessories.
The drop today is their biggest of the year and includes some dressy choices - silk, lace, and tulle. Gals are snatching up the lace and the silk in white to wear as wedding dresses - the lace ones sell for $175 - how's that for a cost effective wedding dress???? I am hoping to get one of the lace in pink. The collection includes lots of new prints in dresses, separates, and accessories.

I have three of the Caroline dresses and gave another Caroline dress to one of our daughters in law. I tend to wear them at home as house dresses--wondering if someone at the grocery store would think I had come out in the my nightgown. Convince me I can wear them out. I don't have the black one, but have the pink seashell dress, a green and white winter motif dress, and a blue and white dress.
ReplyDeleteI have fifteen Nap Dresses in various styles. I tend to wear the Ellie the most for going out to dinner, etc. as it is dressier. For colder climates, it is wonderful layered over a turtleneck. I love the Caroline, but suspect it is being phased out. I wear the Caroline out all the time, but like to dress it up with statement earrings, a great straw bag, and Jack Rogers sandals. I sometimes wear it off the shoulder and sometimes belt it. I get lots of compliments and have never been accused of wearing my nightgown. I am wearing a tartan Caroline today.
