The thing I fell in love with first about Florida was its palm trees. I love them and am fortunate to have many in my garden. I also really enjoy decorating with palm trees indoors - I have a 10 foot palm tree inside as well as other palm tree decor.

A charger plate is a large, decorative plate that acts as a base for other dinnerware. Charger plates serve both aesthetic and practical purposes. Visually, charger plates provide elegance and enhance table decor. Practically, they protect the table and tablecloth from becoming dirty during service. They're also a key feature at fine dining establishments. Two of my china patterns I originally discovered at restaurants where I was dining - one a restaurant in Bermuda and another in Great Falls, Virginia.

I have two of these tabletop palm trees by Kim Seybert, one in pink, and one in green. They are discontinued from her collection, but sold in the $100 - $200 range depending on the size. Do you spot the Kate Spade X Target pink polka dot wicker crescent bag on the back left? So cute.

The other one lives in the lanai of my mini rattan beach house along with a couple of Herend monkeys.
