And the Winner Is...

The Famous Five

My favorite flats - Rothy's recently had a Vote It Back contest to vote back your favorite from five of their most popular shoes. The winner was announced yesterday and they actually brought back all five as Limited Editions. All are animal prints and so fun! Can you guess my favorite?

The Chinoiserie Bedroom

Melissa Smrekar

I so love this feminine and eclectic bedroom in a wonderful color palette of coral pink and green. The coral chest is vintage. I adore the wicker pagoda canopy - it was a Round Top find originally in a Florida department store window display in the 1960's. Most accessories are vintage finds. The magnolia wallpaper is Thibaut found on eBay.

Are you looking for Mother's Day gift ideas for yourself or your Mom or perhaps a little summer weather is coming wardrobe refresh? I have posted before about how much I like Printfresh.

Printfresh was founded in 2016 by textile designer and fashion entrepreneur Amy Voloshin and her husband (and business partner) Leo Voloshin. A majority woman-owned business, Printfresh is a collection of sleepwear and lifestyle items that are inspired by plants, animals, and home décor.

Welcome Artist Susan Brown

I am happy to welcome artist Susan Brown as an Etsy Sponsor of Chinoiserie Chic. Susan has a special interest in Chinoiserie as you can see. Visit her Etsy shop to view her current collection of original paintings, prints, and even furniture. A very cool idea is the way she has upcycled unusable vinyl record albums into works of art with prints of her paintings. Have you see record frames at places like Michaels? - I have shown an example below. I think a grouping of these album prints framed would be wonderful. You can find Susan's link in my sidebar - check back often as she is always adding new works of art.
