Fuchsia & Apricot

Gary McBournie - Veranda

I love the color palette of this breakfast banquette space in a Victorian London townhouse. The fruit watercolors are 19th century Chinese. The banquette is covered in a fuchsia and orange ikat by Manuel Canovas called Boheme in colorway Rose and Orange. Ikat and chinoiserie is a wonderful combination as is pink and orange.

Pink & Orange

Harpers Bazaar

I received a beautiful new addition for my living room yesterday in pink and orange and it is the prettiest combination ever. Here is more inspiration on this great color combo perfect for that Palm Beach, tropical, Florida, island vibe and stunning with blue and white Chinese porcelain. I will post photos once I style it.

The Chinoiserie Bedroom

Amanda Lindroth

This guest/kids' bedroom is absolutely amazing. Let's look more closely at some of its elements:

*A pair of rattan and wicker beds
*A palette of pink and orange
*Lots of stripes
*A pair of wicker chairs
*A Chinese Chippendale table
*Wicker lampshades
*A bamboo curtain rod
*Palm wallpaper
*A window seat
*THE MOST STUNNING PALM CEILING FAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am planning an upcoming post on chic ceiling fans. In hot climates, they are a necessity in the home. I will share my tips on making them look great like in this bedroom as opposed to being clunky eyesores which IMO most are. I have about a dozen in this house and have replaced many of them. Have you found ceiling fans that you like??

Pink and orange is such a pretty but underused combination in my opinion.

Saturday Inspiration - Manuel Canovas Bengale

I am wild about pink and orange used together and my favorite example of this beautiful combination is the classic and iconic Bengale in Paprika by Manuel Canovas. Here it is in all sorts of applications big and small and all fabulous! BTW, the styling above is fantastic with the Chinese Chippendale chairs in pink ikat, the vintage lucite bar cart, the pineapple, and very good taste in Champagne.

Trending - Pink & Orange - Inspiration Board & More

A new color trend I adore is combining pink and orange. I love each of these colors and combined they are amazing - modern, bold, fun, dramatic, and energizing. These colors work beautifully with Chinoiserie. Love Chinoiserie Chic, Palm Beach Chic, and Hollywood Regency? Try these colors.

I have created a dining room above in pink and orange with touches of black for glamour and sophistication. All items are from Charlotte & Ivy - the most beautifully curated online store you have ever seen. The prices are wonderful and they have FREE SHIPPING, even on furniture. Here's the scoop.

I have painted the walls in a pale lavender.

The rug is an orange and white striped wool flat weave - casual, modern, and sophisticated.

A pair of pink pagoda lamps is pure fun, Chinoiserie, and glamour.

A framed pink elephant giclee is very Palm Beach Chic.

I love this beaded and iron chandelier - such a hot look and this is very well priced.

A Draper gold and black Greek key cabinet - need I say more?

Pink Chinese Chippendale dining chairs - you have to check this out - be your own designer choosing your own color, level of distressing, and fabric with dozens of combinations - these are fantastic!!!!!!!

A black steel with cream wood base round dining table for a bold and unexpected juxtaposition.

For even more inspiration, I have created a Pink and Orange Pinterest board here.
