This stunning photo from Charlotte Moss' Manhattan East 70s townhouse decorated for the Christmas holidays remains a favorite. The banister is decorated with a garland with coral and gold ribbons and large pinecones. I love the white floral arrangement on the entryway table. The two column pedestals have grapevine trees in blue and white planters. It looks like they are "decorated" with Spanish moss.

I can't wait to start decorating for the holidays and I am already in planning mode. I always like adding a few new things to my Christmas decor. I have been eyeing these ginger jars in red and green.

This is another shot from the wonderful coastal Maine home I posted on yesterday. I love the skirted linen table topped with books, blue and white Chinese porcelain, seashells, and wicker. Can anyone name the flowers in the vase? The answer is Cimicifuga, a wonderful plant for the woodland or shade garden.
