Blue & White @ CCC

Mini CCC

Two additions to mini CCC. Above is the butler's pantry. The Georgian Welsh Dresser is now filled with a collection of blue and white china. And the vintage wicker conversation sofa below. I painted it white and added blue and white striped cushions.

120 Items Every Beautiful Home Should Have - #14

House Beautiful

Next on the list from House Beautiful's list of must haves for the beautiful home is a butler's pantry. This is a funny choice to me, as I bet not 1% of homes have one. But I included it because I love the room lacquered in Chinese Blue and the Chinoiserie wallpaper in the room beyond. Let's look at some Chinoiserie influenced butler's pantries if you are lucky enough to have one.

Saturday Inspiration - Blue and White

So many of you have asked to learn more about this wonderful blue and white space. It is a butler's pantry created by Kellie Griffin Interiors for the 2013 Atlanta Symphony Decorators' Show House and Gardens. The damask wallpaper is Cole & Son Albemarle Aldwych and the fabulous blue and white Chinoiserie toile window treatment is Brunschwig & Fils' iconic Le Lac. I love the Chinoiserie grandfather clock! I have hunted down more photos of the room to share with you. It's very strange, but almost invariably I love the butler's pantries in these show houses the best and they are often done with Chinoiserie.
