Chinoiserie Ginger Jar Needlepoint Stocking |
I am in planning mode for my Christmas decorating at CCC since I start decorating during Thanksgiving week which is less than 2 months away. Dillard's has just opened their Christmas shop - I am a big fan of their Southern Living Collection. Here are some great blue and white chinoiserie picks -

Do you prefer shopping at Dillard's store, or their online site? I remember decades ago, and long before the internet, San Francisco had fabulous stores. It was truly an adventure and a wonderful experience to shop there, especially at Christmas time. I suppose they still exist in cities like New York, Paris, and London, but holiday shopping is not the same here.
ReplyDeleteI shop online! The days of the great department stores are gone. My favorites like Marshall Fields and Garfinkels are no more. And most of my favorite specialty stores are not nearby. I love shopping online - I can be in my pretty home with my puppies and the world is my oyster. And so many store have free shipping and free returns.
DeleteGarfinkels boxes! The navy velvet lids and metallic silver on the bottom...what an elegant store.
DeleteBrooks Bros boxes are very similar. I miss Garfinckel's so much. The downtown store at 14th & F. 😪
