MacKenzie-Childs Blue and White Striped Pumpkin 

Mackenzie-Childs has lots of wonderful pumpkins for fall and Halloween decorating in lots of colors, designs, and sizes. I especially like this blue and white striped one. I never tire of blue and white stripes.

Find it here. This is actually a really easy DIY. I like using a white pumpkin, but an orange pumpkin works well too. Use painters tape to mark off your stripes, and then use craft paint in blue and white to paint. A sponge brush is great for this project. You can also use faux pumpkins available at stores like Michaels for this project. And paint the stem gold for a really luxe touch.

This is a great project for fall decorating - September is just a week away, and will look great all the way through Halloween and even Thanksgiving. If you are using real pumpkins, the heirloom pumpkins with their very thick skins last far longer than traditional orange pumpkins - literally for months.
