The Fourth of July is quickly approaching. I am hosting a Fourth of July party and have started thinking about what I will wear, decorations, and such.
I have a collection of Amanda Lindroth wicker Birkin baskets in red, navy, and light blue and they will be great filled with blue and white hydrangeas. I hide glass mason jars or cheap vases from the Dollar Tree inside to hold the water and flowers.

I picked up some darling Fourth of July decorations at HomeGoods like red, white, and blue paper fans and felt pendants too.
I think I'll wear this Hill House Home Nantucket Collection navy gingham dress from my closet -

You struck gold today. Two dresses on my radar. The Americana and the Salty Paloma kaftan. Will fill my Birkin basket with pinwheels. They were sold out when last you featured them, but in luck this time. I need a T-nuck fix in G-town. Just don't want to take the trip with this monster weather. It's not raining cats and dogs. It's raining elephants. Every day.

Have you figured out how to secure the lid on the basket? So far I have wrapped a thin wire in silk ribbon and it works kinda'. Something more secure would be better and more stylish perhaps
Didn't pay attention to the dark blue basket. Will copy that.Or the red one. Haven't had my coffee yet.
