Decorating with Fruit for the Holidays

I love decorating with fresh fruit for the holidays. My favorites are pears, kumquats, and pomegranates. This is great inspiration from a favorite store And George in Charlottesville. Although Florida is the Kumquat Capitol of the United States, they are oddly hard to find here. The produce guy at Publix did not even seem to know what I was asking for.

I will check other stores this week- I love the idea of a kumquat necklace for my shell bust. I saw on Instagram the other day an entire Christmas tree decorated with nothing but Mandarin oranges hung from ornament hooks.
