I used to avoid using red for holiday decorating, thinking it did not work well with my Florida color palette of blue, white, pink, and coral at CCC. Boy was I wrong. Last year I started introducing red Christmas decorations and I went all in this year and love it. The picture above is a great example of how well red and white works with blue and white for Christmas.
These shown above are red and white striped or candy cane paper honeycomb ornaments.
I found these on Amazon and they were delivered yesterday. They are so cute. Use them as ornaments on any size Christmas tree including a tabletop, use them as gift ties, put one at each dining table place setting, or pile them in a basket like the photo at top or in a blue and white Chinese bowl. I'll figure out today where I am using mine. They are a dozen for $18.99. They have a gold cord and gliiter edge and magnetic closure and are just darling.

These are too cute to miss. Needed something for two small silver trees in guest rooms. Perfect fun ornaments to give that silver a pop.
ReplyDeleteAs always, thank you Beth.

well, as you know, cinnabar is a big part of chinoiserie
ReplyDeleteLove your comment! And, if you look at Oriental Art it often combines all of these colors including red.
