This is the living room of Frances Valentine's CEO and style maven Elyce Arons. My eye immediately went to the stunning red and green salt and pepper mills. I had to ask myself - What are they doing in the living room? I suspect they borrowed them from the kitchen for the photo shoot because of the Christmas colors. And second, who makes these gorgeous things that are going on my Christmas wish list? Since I have been very good this year, I bet I am getting everything on my list.
Being a good researcher, I quickly discovered that the are by London's Addison Ross. "An exclusive design, made from solid acacia wood fully FSC certified, finished with 20 coats of high-gloss lacquer hand-polished between each coat." 20 coats of paint - wow!
And what's more, they come in loads of gorgeous colors. And I found them on a Friends and Family Sale for 25% off and free shipping.
They can be used for salt or pepper - there is a knob to select. I am thinking of a pair for salt and pepper for CCC, but there are too many great colors. It's hard to choose. This would be a lovely gift for a gourmet cook or anyone who has a great eye for style and design. It would make a great hostess gift.
