I think this is so fun. Are you headed to a Halloween party or feel like dressing up for Halloween for trick or treaters? Halloween was so great in my old neighborhood in Alexandria, Virginia. A Halloween parade with kids and dogs in costumes around the big circle/historic park in my neighborhood followed by pizza for all the kids and then trick or treating. Some adults would dress up for handing out candy. It was darling.
This is Frances Valentine's take on dressing for Halloween. A trench coat with a magnifying glass and you are a chic detective. Add a witch hat to a black cocktail dress for a very elegant witch.
Here are the trench coat and cocktail dress -

How fun that everyone in your neighborhood had such a fun and festive Halloween. I'm in a lovely and quiet suburb in the greater San Francisco Bay Area. Sadly, we never get any trick or treaters anymore, and haven't for a long time, but I do remember as a child that we got many, and how fun Halloween was. I don't know what children do now.
ReplyDeleteI love those Jeffrey Campbell loafers on the model in the bow toggle trench coat.
Ah, yes. Same in my old neighborhood in Alexandria (Wycliffe on the Potomac). The parents have moved on, kids grown and dispersed around the country. Feeling nostalgic.

Beautiful area - I was in Belle Haven for 20 years and loved it.
