An update on my painting project - yesterday went very well. Prep work is all finished - we decided to hand skip trowel the entire lanai ceiling for a beautiful fresh surface and it looks great. A full day of painting is on tap for today.
Above is a very pretty covered porch with a haint blue ceiling and lots of chinoiserie. I count four Chinese garden stools. No plants though for me in my lanai. There is no reason for me to compete with my beautiful view of the preserves with ancient live oaks and palm trees. But I have decided to put lots more blue and white Chinese porcelain in mine. Putting everything back in the lanai is on the agenda for tomorrow.
