| Phoebe Howard - Kips Bay Palm Beach 2024 |
Kips Bay Palm Beach opens this week. When I lived in D.C., I loved going to the showhouses in D.C., Baltimore, and Alexandria. Unfortunately, most are shuttered and a thing of the past.
An exception are the wonderful Kips Bay showhouses that now include Palm Beach and Dallas in addition to the grande dame NYC.
This is a sneak peek of the master bedroom by Phoebe Howard. The wallpaper is by Gracie Studio. I love the blue and white striped dhurrie over the seagrass rug, the leopard bench, the pagoda, and the palm tree torchiere. Blue and white heaven.

That would be a great destination trip with girlfriends. One of these days...
ReplyDeleteFor anyone visiting my beautiful hometown of Charleston, SC…the Charleston Symphony Designer Showhouse runs March 13-April 13. Early construction pictures are promising a spectacular house this year! Attending a Kips Bay house is on my bucket list!
ReplyDeleteHow sad that so many are shuttered. I'm sure covid has something to do with this, but there are also so many online sources for viewing interior designs. Never as wonderful as seeing things in person, but easily accessible. That vignette with the tasseled curtain and the lampshade with the crystal edging is lovely.
