Setting the Thanksgiving Table

This is one of my favorite Thanksgiving inspiration photos. The Imari plates with their navy blue and Chinese red are complemented by brass candlesticks, glass hurricanes, and silver vases filled with dahlias, roses, rose hips, viburnum berries, and leaves in red and russet and orange. A color palette like this works much better at my home than traditional harvest tones that are not my favorites anyway.
