Setting the table for fall need not mean harvest colors. I much prefer blue and white any time of year. Here blue and white French aptware china, bamboo flatware, a blue Canton vase, and mini pumpkin tureens set the stage.
Here are some ides for creating this pretty table setting. The blue goblets are Villeroy & Boch. They are even on sale.
If you snagged this gorgeous bamboo flatware from HomeGoods when I posted on it a while back it would be perfect -

These placemats would be a pretty alternative to a tablecloth. I have these and love them and they are maintenance free -
Mini white pumpkins are at grocery stores now and could be used instead of pumpkin tureens.

Beth, that first photo is glorious. Love everything about it.
ReplyDeleteTotally unrelated: you mentioned once that your favorite pink paint color is ___? Was it Delicate Rose? (Benjamin Moore) I can't find the post where you mentioned it! ~Joy
I have done so many posts and have done several posts on pink paint. Quite recently I posted that Amanda Lindroth loves Benjamin Moore Soft Pink. One of my favorites is Farrow & Ball Middleton Pink.
DeleteThank you! I really appreciate your super helpful response - and I really like Middleton Pink.
DeleteI'm trying to decide if the extra expense of the Farrow & Ball paint is worth it for this project. The house was built in 1790. The room I plan to paint is one of those "I can't stand it any longer situations."
But the walls themselves are eventually going to need some remedial attention (230 year old plaster walls have issues - ha). So it may be best to use Benjamin Moore for now.
At any rate, thank you very much for your help! ~Joy
