Southern Living Holiday Chinoiserie Topiary Kitchen Towel |
A perfect way to add some chinoiserie charm to your kitchen for the holidays is beautiful kitchen towels. I have towel bars at the ends of my new marble kitchen island and these would be great.
These would also be a wonderful hostess gift or stocking stuffer.
These are from the Southern Living Collection exclusively available at Dillard's. The Southern Living Collection is filled with blue and white and chinoiserie with gracious Southern style. I've never even been to a Dillard's. I'm still mourning the loss of Marshall Field's and Garfinckel's for you Chicago and D.C. followers.
Here are more darling choices from this collection for decorating your home for the holidays and for gift giving. Click on the captions to link.

I will always have Marshall Field's in my heart! Going into the city and having lunch by that wonderful towering tree will always be a cherished holiday memory. Love so many of the tips you give on your blog. Keep us inspired!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much. My family had lunch by the tree every Christmas season and then we would buy a big box of Frango Mints.
DeleteOh my! What great finds. Just what I need. Everything is affordable although it is not on sale. Beth, I just purchased almost everything you posted. Dillard should give you a percentage of sales. Thank you for doing my shopping for me. I love this! Hugs.
ReplyDeleteWonderful! I love this collection.
DeleteBeth, get thee to University Town Plaza in Sarasota OR to to the mall in Port Charlotte and experience the magic of shopping at Dillards for yourself! I am not sure which location is more convenient for you. Hands-down, one of my favorite places to buy shoes. I love Dillards!
ReplyDeleteI pass the Sarasota one all the time - I will stop in this week.
DeleteHow I miss Garfinckels! Lunch and a fashion show At the main store restaurant on 14th and F. The big bird cage in the ladies room! I worked there during Christmas and summers during college.… I still have the famous blue gift boxes! Such great memories!
ReplyDeleteI was in law school and would shop there and have lunch or go shopping with my best friend and then we would go for drinks or dinner at Old Ebbitt's.
DeleteI have wonderful childhood memories of my mother taking my brothers and me to downtown San Francisco during the Christmas season, and visiting all of the fabulous stores, which, sadly, no longer exist. It was truly magical, especially for a child. We would then meet my father for lunch. He worked in the financial district. It was such a treat.
ReplyDeleteSame with me with my mother taking my brother and me to Marshall Field's and having lunch next to the Christmas tree. Great memories.
DeleteMy mother and I came to visit Washington, DC to look at colleges. One priority was to open a charge at Garfinckel's. Shopping isn't the same without the old stores.
ReplyDeleteI don't know if you remember this, but back in the day their charge card was the WSP - Washington Shopper's Plate, that was for Garfinckel's, Woodward & Lothrop, and Hecht's. I was in law school and very proud to have the plate - I did most of my shopping at Garfinkel's. I still miss it.
DeleteMarshall Fields...a diamond lost forever. Class was foremost!
DeleteI still miss shopping at the one in Lake Forest and the Chicago store.
DeleteI did have a Washington Shopper's Plate. Maybe I got it when my mom opened the account for me.
ReplyDeleteI had never heard of a card for 3 competing stores - very old school.
DeleteIf you are ever in Winter Park, FL there is a cute boutique called Arabella and one of the women is a former Garfinkles buyer... I love to visit and reminisce!
ReplyDeleteHow interesting!
