This charming breakfast room features a favorite wallpaper of mine, Brunschwig & Fils Bird and Thistle. This classic yet contemporary pattern is available in many colorways and works in virtually any room of the house. It's a wallpaper that pairs beautifully with chinoiserie, as you will see. It is also available in a cotton fabric covering the cushions and pillows above.

I love this wallpaper! Brunschwig makes such wonderful wallpaper. We have one of their wallpapers in our small wet bar that has been up for almost 30 years now. I still love it and would not dream of taking it down even though the house has been redecorated around it.
ReplyDeleteSounds lovely - any chance you can share a photo? Amy
DeleteTheir wallpapers are timeless classics.
DeleteRecently had my powder room papered in Bird and Thistle in the red version. Ceiling was painted in one of the red shades. Crown molding in the same shade of white. Antique chinoiserie hanging fixture hung. Even guys love this powder room and say how beautiful it is. Lisa
ReplyDeleteSounds stunning!
DeleteIt's very pretty! I especially love it in the blue and in the red. It looks like Amie Corley also used matching Bird and Thistle fabric with fringe for pillows. I love her rattan chairs.
ReplyDeleteGreat colorways.
