Liz Caan |
This is an intriguing dining room by Liz Caan featuring a favorite chinoiserie fabric of mine - Quadrille's Paradise Background in Black on Tint. A farmhouse dining table paired with cane wingback dining chairs is lit by a white and brass ring chandelier. I like the unexpected choice of the pink velvet on the chairs.
I believe the framed burlap sack was for transporting coffee beans from Guatemala. Here is a similar one on eBay.
There are many of these vintage sacks for sale.
Framing unique pieces like this is a great way to bring personality into your home. Framebridge is excellent for framing virtually anything. They do a really good job with textiles, floating the piece and sewing it to the mat.
The curtain fabric is a classic chinoiserie choice - Quadrille's Paradise Background, available in many colorways.
