| Audrey's New Boat and Tote |
I did a post a little while back on L.L.Bean's iconic boat and tote, a favorite of prepsters, the boating set, and country clubbers for decades. You can read my post here.
I decided I wanted a new one (I have quite a few) as a welcome gift for Audrey the Audi. (I love having one in the car for going to the dry cleaners, doing errands, running into Aldi, and the like. For you non Aldi shoppers, they don't provide grocery bags or carts. My two dogs fit in it as well.
Recently, the new trend with this tote is to add a cheeky word or phrase in lieu of your name or monogram. There is even a very popular Instagram account devoted to this. This summer they have been popping up everywhere in the wild with humorous words and phrases (you are limited to ten characters).

FYI, mine at top is the large with regular straps with black trim and embroidery to match my black and white car. The pups have their own one in the trunk with dog paraphernalia. My "old money" embroidery is a tongue in cheek reference to back in the day when they were de rigueur with that set.

DeleteBeth, love LL Bean totes - have used them for years. But, actually wanted to comment on the Rothy’s shoes. I am so grateful you have written several posts about these amazing shoes. I was truly skeptical but ordered my first pair about six weeks ago. They were everything you said - and even more. Second pair was just delivered a few minutes ago. Honestly, they are the most comfortable little flats EVER, hands down. The shoes feel like the most comfortable slippers from the moment they come out of the box. Plus, they are just cute!!
