The same antique chinoiserie chest, styled in a myriad of ways in his Hollywood Hills home over time, by the extraordinary Mark D. Sikes. Do you tend to leave things once you are happy with the styling, or are you one to change things around all the time?

That is a beautiful chest. I love it with the blue and white pieces.
ReplyDeleteThat's my favorite too.
DeleteMr. Sikes is a master. I just hope heaven is full of chinoiserie chests like his.
ReplyDeleteI have a very similar one that I love.
DeleteI like changing things around. Of all of Mark's vignettes, I think I like the last one the most, but perhaps it's because the mirror reflects his beautiful outdoor space.
ReplyDeleteBut no chinoiserie wallpaper in that one.
DeleteI constantly change things around -- even though I may love the styling, it never stays the same for long.
ReplyDeleteI try to, but once I style something, I find it hard to find a look I prefer.
DeleteChange it up! I love to change things around. Makes life interesting. That chest is to die for!
ReplyDeleteI try to, but always go back to the way I originally styled it.
