Today is my birthday and I sort of feel like the book and movie Eat, Pray, Love. In the past decade, I lived through the death of my best friend to cancer, then the sudden death of my husband, escaped from a truly horrendously abusive relationship, and then the pandemic in a new home and a new city where I did not know a soul. But that is all behind me and I am now happy beyond my wildest dreams and am so incredibly thankful.
I want to thank all of my followers, many of whom have traveled this journey on Chinoiserie Chic with me for your support and for allowing me this creative outlet. And for those dealing with your own issues now, know that you are stronger than you think. Look at the women of Ukraine for inspiration - saving their children, their parents, their grandparents, and even taking up arms to defend their country.
I have created a life I love and am so looking forward to this next chapter. Thanks for being a happy part of it.
