The Wicker Elephant Bar

Amanda Lindroth's Wicker Elephant Console

Amanda Lindroth has just come out with this wicker elephant console and a wicker elephant side table. Wicker elephant tables are such a classic of Chinoiserie Chic decor and these are really lovely examples.

I think her design is quite fantastic. You rarely see the trunks raised and long sweeping tails like these and the large table surfaces on both make them very functional. I also love that the console is two distinct elephants as opposed to conjoined elephants which is very unique. These are real statement pieces.

Both are available for pre-order with shipping later this month. The console would be amazing in an entryway or as a bar.

These are vintage examples saved in my files - not currently for sale. They were originally designed as bars.

Do any of you recall that Iris Apfel had some furniture and decor for Grandin Road a few years ago? Here is the elephant bar. It even opened for storage.

I am big fan of Amanda Lindroth's entire home collection and have many of her pieces in my home. These are two great additions to her line.

Her book Island Hopping is one of my favorites.

  1. This is just fabulous, and I love Ashley Brooke's elephant bar. Do you know if it is still available to purchase? I purchased Amanda's book, Island Hopping, last year along with Cathy Kincaid's The Well Adorned Home. They are both wonderful.

  2. I love the Amanda Lindroth elephant console table, but I am absolutely OBSESSED with that Grandin Road elephant console table! I think because it has that space underneath for storage. I've looked for it on Ebay and Etsy and every other place I could think of, but alas, it's no where to be found. I suppose I will have to snap up Amanda's table before it's gone.

    1. The Grandin Road one was a few years back and I had so much going on in my life I did not get it and have looked for it on eBay etc. on and off for years. But I think the Amanda Lindroth version is stunning - I love it.
