Amanda Lindroth - Island Hopping

After posting a photo from Amanda Lindroth's book
Island Hopping in yesterday's post, I thought I would share another wonderful home featured in her book. I love the use of one of my favorite colors coral carried through the house.
La Paloma -
“In the foyer we covered the walls in Lyford Pagoda, printed on grasscloth in a bold Lyford coral. We sprinkled vintage Ficks Reed rattan pieces throughout the interior, including a one-of-a-kind mid-century settee. This little settee had caught my eye a year before I found the perfect client for it!”

This photo above is sort of Christmassy. It offers some great ideas for those of us in tropical locales where traditional Christmas greenery seems a bit heavy and dries out so fast - here palm fronds and red coral are used beautifully. I love looking for ideas for Christmas decorating here in south Florida that are more tropical and Palm Beachy and not overly traditional.
Have a wonderful weekend - it is gorgeous here.
I love the color coral. I have some in my house. Enjoy your great weather! It is chilly and blustery in Dallas this weekend. Happy Holidays!
ReplyDeleteCoral is a wonderful color - stay warm.
