A $500 Candle

Ralph Lauren Holiday Grand Candle


 I love luxury candles and admit that I spend a bit of money on them. But this one stopped me in my tracks. It is stunning. It is huge -  over 7" wide and weighs seven pounds and is all hand crafted, nestled in a handwoven natural brass basketweave holder. Its scent is pine needles, juniper berries, vetiver, and cypress.

I must admit that I love it, but $500 (ok it's actually $495)? My word. 

It is also available in green.

I've searched the internet and can't find anything like it or it on sale. Any ideas?

I love this next 3 wick holiday candle and it is on sale for $8.50!!!!!!! I would stock up on these for yourself and for gifts. They smell amazing and the container is lovely. I plan to use this all "winter" - a high today here of 81 degrees! I have been burning one for the last couple of weeks and it's wonderful - I just bought 10 more online on sale.

    $495.00?! That is just insane. How can they justify charging that amount of money for a candle? Obviously, there will be some people who will pay that amount, but even if I had money to burn, (pun intended), I wouldn't. I would just feel ripped off.

      A lot of designer pieces have wild prices, but this is indeed crazy.

    I usually do not shop at Target, but shopped online for the candle. I totally forgot I had a $10 gift card from something I purchased about this time last year. Target kindly reminded me I had it during check out. So I basically got a free candle! Love that.
