Turkeys and Chinoiserie

Spode Woodland Turkey

Can you believe that Thanksgiving is a month away? There is nothing more classic for the Thanksgiving table than turkeys. Here is some inspiration and some great finds.

This ginger jar centerpiece is stunning with the hydrangeas, zinnias, pink hypericum berries, and pomegranates.

I have always loved the Spode Woodland Turkey pattern and I have found amazing prices on some pieces you could mix and match with your white or blue and white china and a blue and white Chinese porcelain ginger jar centerpiece. I am not a fan of getting the whole place setting - turkey overload. But I love blue and brown together and I think dinner plates or salad plates and/or perhaps a serving piece or two of the Spode Woodland Turkey would be fabulous.

    1. It's even crazier in Florida because it's always warm. Sure doesn't feel like the holidays are coming.

  4. Bought myself a gift last spring of a set of Woodland and Delamere and just got it out to start using until Thanksgiving. So happy! I look forward to mixing and matching as you suggest!

    1. I love it too but think it looks so much more modern mixing and matching.
