Chinoiserie Earrings

CCC

After posting pictures of my closet, several followers asked about my earring collection. I wear a pair of statement earrings every day - a caftan/maxi dress, a pair of dramatic earrings, and a great pair of sandals and I am good to go. (Underwear is optional in the tropics - LOL).

  8. Beth, is there a way to read your entire blog in chronological order - from it's inception up to the present? (Can you tell I am technologically challenged?) Thanks.

    1. Are you kidding? LOL.... I have been blogging for 12 years with 5,000 posts. That's a lot of reading. But as far as I am aware, you can just read from newest back.

    2. No, I was not kidding, and there probably is a way, I just don't know how. There is a fabulous blog entitled "Slim Paley/The Stuff of Life"" written by Carolyn Espley-Miller. She's also been blogging for a long time. Some fan of hers printed out the entirety of her blog, had it bound in book form, and sent it to her. If you have not heard of her or read her blog, I highly recommend it. She is witty and funny and lots of fun to read. I know there are millions of blogs out there, but her's is exceptional. She may have, not long ago, switched over to Instagram. I'm not sure, but give her a look. Happy blogging!

    3. Is THAT where "Slim Paley" went!!! I read her & laughed & marveled. You do know she's married to Dennis Miller. Must inv3stigate now!! franki

    4. Yes, that's where Slim Paley went. I did know she was married to Dennis Miller. I SO loved reading her blog, and am a bit disappointed that she went over to Instagram, as so many other bloggers have. I love looking at some Instagrammer's accounts, but her prose was so wonderful, and such an integral part. I guess publishing on Instagram is easier and less time consuming than writing a blog. Perhaps she is just going through a dry spell, or a bit of burn-out, but whatever it is, if you are reading this, Slimmy, I hope the blog returns!

  9. Beth, do you follow The Tiny Tassel on Instagram? Mimi has a darling shop in Charleston and is one of my Must Stop There whenever I go home to visit. I was in last week and she has loads of beautiful chinoiserie earrings, etc. Mimi is a young African American woman who is going places with her flagship store! Her mother sews all the beautiful clothes and her sister is her accountant. You will love her things and yes, they ship.

  12. Speaking of caftans, I must give a shout out to local SF Bay Area homie Lesley Evers. Her Tegan caftans are super cute https://lesleyevers.com/search?q=tegan
I just ordered the Blue Primrose Tegan today!
Lesley designs ALL the fabric patterns as well. And, she goes the extra mile to support the local community ALL her pieces are manufactured in Oakland! Go Lesley! Y'all should check out her website www.lesleyevers.com I've been buying her stuff for years. Think y'all will like her spunky patterns.

  13. I saw some similar ones in a Bon Bon Vintage post today. Have you popped in there? I think you might like it and it’s near HG - on bee ridge and tuttle.
